Have you ever been captured by an image? Ninni Heldt is a painter whose artworks have the power to take you over. “When I paint I focus on exploring the subtleties of the lights, shadows and prenumbras. Examining light is interesting and at its best a meditative process.”

After trained as an artist in Finland from the University of Art in Helsinki she has studied classical and realistic painting method in the Florence Academy of art and Cecil’s studio in Florence, Italy. She uses the same method that was studied by masters of the golden age of Finnish art in Paris in the late 19th century.
